1. What's your earliest beauty memory?
Always a magazine junkie, I used to read one (can't remember the name and I think went out of business within a year!) but then moved onto Sugar and Bliss. Reading about make-up 'properly' in there opened my eyes a bit to the whole 'beauty world' and I was fascinated from there!
2. What was your first beauty purchase?
I remember always always always wearing this eye shadow by Miss Sporty. It had like 3 shades of white, silver and dark grey which I used to choose from. I can only imagine what I used to look like and actually only threw it away around 6 months ago when I was having a clear out! Excessive hoarder, yes that is me.
3. When did you first wear makeup?
Probably at my school disco in year 6, the last year of primary school (I think that's aged 11 for anybody not in the UK!). I had a 'boyfriend' at the time and remember wanting him to say I was pretty so that's when the Miss Sporty eye shadows came out....uh oh!
4. What was your first beauty disaster?
This is tricky, just because I haven't usually worn enough make-up to have one! But thinking when I was going through my emo phrase and I used to just wear loaaaads of black eyeliner and shadow with nothing else at all! Can only imagine how scary that looked with an otherwise bare face, and sometimes not any mascara.
5. Who was your first beauty crush?
Honestly, I'm not too sure on this question! I never really used to pay much attention to people's make up in magazines and stuff like that, but I'd probably say now that Penelope Cruz (bit random) always does beautiful dramatic eyes.
6. What was your first brand crush?
Benefit was the first high-end brand I really started getting into: I remember going through a stage where I'd go out and buy stuff from the counter in Debenhams: POREfessional, Smokey Eyes Palette, Benetint, That Gal are all now residing in my make-up bag as a result! While I still like Benefit stuff, I wouldn't run out and rave over it like I have done in the past!
7. What's your longest standing beauty love?
Simple moisturiser for me outshines all other face creams I try: they seem to be too thick for my skin and rub off instead of soaking into my skin! I've used that for years. Make-up wise, I'd definitely say Maybelline Colossal Mascara: I used to use it years ago, but bought it again when they relaunched it, or started promoting it loads again with the pencil/smudge stick. Still love it as much as I did then and I don't know why I strayed from it!
A Benefit Obsession & my long time favourites. And that's it for the tag! I hope you guys enjoyed it and now for some bloggers that I'd like to see it from!
